Did you enjoy working with a limitation? Why or why not? While I didn't particularly enjoy working with a limitation it was very interesting. It made it harder for me to work, I had to draw in little dashes all over the place to get the final picture, and it took forever. On the other hand it was really cool to try drawing in a different way, it gave me better insight to how hard it can be to work with a disability.
"We need to first be limited in order to become limitless." Did being limited in this unit help your artmaking in any way?
In this unit, me drawing in little dashes/lines helped me pay more attention to detail, and focus more on the little things. Normally I try to get a piece of art done reasonably fast, but with it taking so long in the first place, it gave me more time to go over the drawing and add more to it. Being limited doesn't always make your art worse, it can make it more unique, even better.
How did your final artwork turn out? Do you think it was successful? My final artwork turned out looking really good to me. It has all the qualities of my normal drawings, but it came with the unique twist of being almost like pointillism, except with lines instead of dots or splotches. It also turned out to be very successful, I learned to draw with a simulated disability while keeping in touch with my art skills at the same time.
